Statistics reveal that somewhere in the United States, a peace officer is killed in the line of duty every 53 hours. And no state has laid to rest more officers than our very own — California. That’s a distinction none of us want, but it’s the reality peace officers face every day.

The Professional Peace Officers Charitable Foundation (PPOCF) was established in 1999 to provide assistance to members of the law enforcement community in need, most notably the families of peace officers killed in the line of duty.

The proceeds from the Peace Officer Memorial Golf Tournament will be specifically earmarked to support the spouses, children and loved ones of our departed brethren. Financial assistance from PPOCF will also help surviving family members attend annual Memorial ceremonies held in Los Angeles County, Sacramento and Washington, D.C.

The Professional Peace Officers Charitable Foundation is grateful for the support from our many tournament sponsors and participants. Your generosity goes a long way in honoring the sacrifices made by peace officers and their loves ones left behind.
